Highlights of Our Year

This year has been filled with impactful and memorable moments, including:

• January: Members attended a comedy fundraiser at the Montgomery Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, supporting our Charity of Choice, VETS Canada.
• April: Together, on behalf of the Order of St. George Foundation, our Priory proudly presented VETS Canada with the largest single donation made to date by the Order of St. George, a testament to our commitment to making a difference.
• June: Dame Elizabeth Graham graciously hosted a summer gathering at her home, fostering fellowship and connection within our Priory.
• September & October: Members united for two community clean-up days at Beechwood National Military Cemetery—an activity that will now become an annual tradition.
• November: We commemorated Indigenous Veterans Day alongside the Canadian Aboriginal Veterans Association (CAV) by attending a meaningful dinner. Thank you to Chevalier Paul Henry for organizing our participation with the CAV. We attended Remembrance Day activities across our region and hosted our Festive Fundraising 5 à 7 at The Nest.
• December: Giving Tuesday was a resounding success, with additional funds raised for VETS Canada, further strengthening our shared mission to support veterans in need.

Looking Ahead

As we enter 2025, we’ll begin to focus more of our efforts on preparations for the 700th Anniversary of the Order of St. George, which will be celebrated in the Nation’s Capital from 25-26 April 2026. Additionally, exciting opportunities for connection, service, and fellowship await us in the year ahead.
