PTSD AWARENESS MARCH

– August 2014

Three retired Canadian Soldiers courageously set out to walk across Canada in an effort to raise awareness about Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.  This effort was entitled, “No Man’s Land”.

A ceremony to greet them was planned by US Peacekeepers.

Chevalier Keven Ellis, together with two other North Wall Rider Association members, road escort for the soldiers as they appeared in front of Hamilton City Hall.

The Retired Soldiers, Steve Hartwig, Jason McKenzie and Scott McFarlane were met with applause and praise for their undertaking a monumental march across Canada to bring awareness and ultimately better care for all people battling PTSD.

On behalf of the Order of St. George, Niagara Command, Chevalier Richard Zirger presented The Cause with a cheque for $1,000.

On behalf of the North Wall Rider Association, Chevalier Keven Ellis also presented a cheque.
