– Friday, August 20th 2021

On Friday August 20, at a ceremony at the Cathedral of St George, the Kingston Priory recognized Kingston’s own Dr. Kieran Michael Moore, Ontario Chief Medical Officer of Health, by making him a Field Knight.

Members of the Priory chose to so honour Dr. Moore for his extraordinary and innovative contribution to the health all Ontarians, especially during this unprecedented public health crisis, in his capacity as the Chief Medical Officer of Health for Kingston Frontenac Lennox and Addington and now for the entire province.

Kingston Prior, Chevalier Robert Hamilton, presided over the ceremony in the Cathedral. He emphasized what an honour it was for the Priory that Dr. Moore accepted our invitation to become a Field Knight. The ceremony was followed by a small reception in the Church Hall.
